GGD Matt Halpern Signature Pack v2 is here– it’s now a licensed Kontakt Library which means *drum roll* you no longer need the full version of Kontakt to use GGD! We’ve also added a bunch of new sonic options including a cymbal matrix for individual control over the levels of each cymbal and samples from the P3 session.

Our friend Adam Bentley was kind enough to create another quick yet thorough tutorial on mixing GGD 2.0 with EQ and compression approaches for each piece of the kit. He uses Presonus Studio One, Metric Halo and Slate VMS but the concepts will apply to any DAW and plugin suite, so don’t be thrown off if you use different software.
